Why We Built This Site
Michigan’s Berrien County Trial Court uses a concurrent-jurisdiction structure across the Second Judicial Circuit, Fifth District Court, and Probate. That structure can make court labels and search destinations hard to sort out. MiCOURT provides a public case-search starting point, while the Berrien County Clerk holds Circuit Court files and separate divisions administer other records. This site brings those official directions into one location without claiming to run the docket.
It also keeps several local distinctions visible: Berrien County has courthouse access points in St. Joseph and Niles; city citations do not create a separate municipal court; and Michigan court-record rules, rather than a blanket FOIA request, govern trial-court case files.

What We Cannot Do
Berrien County Court Docket is privately operated and has no access to a court’s case-management system. It cannot act for a court user or alter a court record.
- It cannot retrieve an official Berrien County docket sheet or case file.
- It cannot set, reschedule, or confirm a court hearing.
- It cannot remove, seal, amend, or interpret a case record.
- It cannot issue certified court copies or accept citation payments.
- It cannot provide legal advice about a Berrien County matter.
- It cannot guarantee the current status of a contact, fee, procedure, or setting.
Only the Berrien County Clerk or the court that holds the matter can provide an official or certified record. Confirm any consequential docket information with that office.
Search Partners
Some content pages include search boxes from third-party providers. Those providers set their own terms, prices, and results. If a user follows one of those services to a paid offer, a referral fee may be earned. That relationship does not make the service an official Berrien County court source, and the site does not control its results, availability, or data practices.
